Garnet and Gold is a beloved tradition on our campus and within our greater community. We are proud of the work we put on stage each year and even more proud of the countless students who dedicate their time to making it happen. Unfortunately, it is not a costless venture, and we need the support of generous donors like you to ensure that Garnet and Gold will remain a tradition for years to come.

We are incredibly grateful for every donation, so thank you in advance for your generosity and continued support!

About Us:

The Garnet and Gold Musical Theatre Society is the largest and longest standing student group on campus. G&G first made its Mount Allison debut in 1932, as an offshoot of the MtA Choral Society within the department of music. The group established itself as a society under the students’ union in the 1960's, and since their 1987 production (thirty-three years ago) the Mount Allison Campus and community of Sackville have not been without an annual Garnet and Gold production, except for the 2020/21 season due to COVID-19 restrictions. Involving dozens of students’ within the production itself, and hundreds more within the audience, it is no exaggeration to say that G&G has been a part of thousands of students’ MtA experience over its nearly eight decades of presence on our campus.
